About Us

The JT Dorsey Foundation is a non-profit, youth development organization that provides key services that are lacking, but necessary, in inner-city Pennsylvania communities.

The JT Dorsey Foundation’s mission is to provide wellness education, physical activity, mentoring, leadership, employment training, and a safe space for at-risk children to grow up.

The JTDF uses the medium of soccer to develop strong moral character, inspire academic excellence, and promote community involvement for participants.

The JTDF currently offers programs for youth ages 5-19 located in Coatesville, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, Pottstown, and Philadelphia. Pennsylvania.

Soccer for Success

Soccer for Success is an after school youth development program used to help kids establish healthy habits and develop critical life skills through using caring adults and family engagement. These programs are located in Coatesville, Harrisburg, Lebanon, Pottstown and Philadelphia, regions of Pennsylvania.

Rebels Fall 2023

Future Leaders

This mentor program is for youth ages 13-18 years old. These programs focus on leadership development and designed to help high school students gain job readiness skills, volunteer, and employment opportunities. It will also increase the student’s connection to secondary education opportunities.

Skill School

Skill School training is designed to expand a player’s mental and physical soccer abilities, focusing on individual skills. The goal of the training is to develop skilled, confident, and creative players through purposeful practice that might not occur during traditional team training.
